Bowker Safaris is located in the malaria-free Eastern Cape, two hour’s drive from Port Elizabeth. It is a family operated business established in 1970, and it is the primary hunting area. Safaris are conducted throughout South Africa,  as well as hunting excursions for the Big Five to Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Big Game Safaris include:

• Zimbabwe – hunting is offered in the Chewore South Safari Area.
• Zambia – our hunting area in Zambia is situated north of Lusaka and in the Luanga Valley.

Species available for hunting include Hyena, Honeybadger, Impala, Kafue Lechwe, Aardwolf, Baboon, Bat-eared fox, Black Backed Jackal, Black Lechwe, Blesbuck, Blue Wildebeest, Blue Duiker, Bontebok, Buffalo, Burchells Zebra, Bushpig, Cape Bushbuck, Tsessebe, Warthog, White Springbuck, White Blesbuck, Wild Cat, Zebra Cape Eland, Cape Kudu, Cape Grysbok, Cape Fox, Caracal, Chobe Bushbuck, Civet, Common Reedbuck, Common Waterbuck, Crocodile, Defassa Waterbuck, Elephant, Fallow Deer, Gemsbuck, Giraffe, Grey Duiker, Hippo, Klipspringer, Leopard, Lion, Lichtenstein Hartebeest, Livingstone Eland, Livingstone’s Suni, Mountain Reedbuck, Nyala, Oribi, Puku, Red Hartebeest, Red Lechwe, Red Duiker, Rhino, Roan, Sable, Serval, Sharpe’s Grysbok, Sitatunga, Steenbok, Southern Greater Kudu.
