Hunting is conducted in the northern region of Benin in the Djona area located next to the Alibori river and the D.U.W game reserve. It is an area that covers over 300,000 acres of primarily grassland and bushland, and hunting takes place in the months of January, February, March and early April when it is generally warm and dry with high temperatures. These safaris offer excellent opportunities to hunt buffalo and a number of the West African savannah species.
The arrival and departure point for these safaris takes place through the city of Cotonou which is best accessed by Air France via Paris.
