The reserve is nestled in the foothills of the Langeberg Mountain range, in the Western Cape, is situated 10km east of Robertson, and is just under 2 hours drive from Cape Town on Route 62 (R62).
The Western Cape fynbos vegetation on the reserve is, in certain areas, suitable for bow hunter’s to test their skills, while being challenged with “walk and stalk” hunting methods.

Vogelpan Lodge & Shumba Safaris is located on a game farm just North of Thabazimbi, in the African bushveld of the Limpopo Province. The game farm is two and a half hours drive from Pretoria, and there is a 1200m air strip which accommodates light aircraft.
Bow Hunting is conducted on 1200 hectares of bushveld, with 8 hides of which two are elevated, and there is a limit of 4 arrows per hunter allowed in the hides. Bow Hunting facilities include trackers, a cooler room and meat processing area.
Hunting species include Warthog, Eland, Blue wildebeest, Kudu, Bles buck, Impala, Red hartebeest, Gems buck, Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra.
